Myulchi Bokkeum (Stir-fried Anchovies)

Myulchi means Stir-fried in Korean. Stir fry recipes are most popular in Korean recipes. Bokkeum is nothing but Anchovies. Today we have selected the very small size anchovies which is available from the market. This is wonderful combination with Rasam rice or we can use as snacks as well. It will be crispy.
Ingredients:

Dried Anchovies - 250 gm
Ginger - 1 inch
garlic - 4 pods
Green chilli - 4
Oil - 7 tsp

Steps:

Wash the dried anchovies 3 to 4 times.
Since this is tiny anchovies no need to remove the head. If you wish, you can remove it.
Grate garlic pods, ginger and Chop the green chillies
Add 5 tsp of oil in a pan. Once oil hot add ginger and fry it until the flavor mix with the oil. This ginger will remove out the excess smell of dried fish. You never feel the dried fish smell.
Add dried anchovies and fry it until it gets golden in color.
Then move the fried anchovies into one side of the pan. Add two more spoon of oil in another side and add garlic and green chilli and fry it until the raw smell goes out.
Finally mix all together ad fry for another 3 to 4 minutes without adding water.
Now the crispy Myulchi Bokkeum is ready to serve. This is the best combination for Rasam rice.
