I love bajji. From whatever vegetables it is made from, i love it to the core. On a rainy day, having bajji along with hot chai can never go wrong. I have quite a few bajji recipe in this blog. But nothing can beat the traditional banana bajji. I love it so much. So try this out and let me know how it turned out.


Ingredients:

Besan/Gram flour – 1 cup

Rice flour – ¼ cup

Ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

Asafoetida – ½ teaspoon

Baking powder – ½ tablespoon (optional)

Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder – ½ tablespoon

Salt as required

Oil for deep fry

Steps:

Add 1 cup besan/gram flour in a bowl.

Then ¼ cup rice flour, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, ½ teaspoon asafoetida, ½ tablespoon baking powder(optional).



Now add 2 teaspoon of red chilli powder, ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder.



Add required salt. Add water little by little and make thick batter.



Heat 2 cup of oil in a pan.



Once oil hot enough, dip banana slices in a batter and drop gently into oil.



Deep fry until golden color.



Take out from oil and place on a paper towel.



Now banana bajji is ready to serve.
