Green Chiretta is a plant that grows in all parts of India. There are two types of this plant as Seemai Nilavembu and Soorathu Nilavembul in Tamil. Their medicinal properties are all the same.

It is also known as Chirettkuchi, Kaandakam, Kratam, Kiriyattu, Krakathi, Nattu Nilavempu, Anariyattitam, Kandam Kokanam.

To stimulate appetite

There are more people who suffer from not having hunger on time than those who suffer from hunger. Gases in the stomach become sluggish and cause anorexia. Thus hunger does not occur to some. If they dry Green chiretta root in the shade and powder and drink it only in the morning daily, they will feel better.

Get rid of intestinal worms

Take 15 g of green chiretta, 
5 g of Orange skin
5 g of coriander

Put these together in 2 tumblers of water, boil it, cover it and leave it for 1 hour, then filter it and drink30 ml per day. Drinking it three times a day will cure fever.

For children

Children who have abdominal pain or diarrhea should be given 5 ml of green chiretta leaf juice after boiling and cooling. 

16 g of Green chiretta (dried)

4 g of Acorus powder

4 g of dill seed powder

17 g of sedge tuber powder

Put these together in 1 tumbler of water, boil it, cool down and soak it for an hour. Then filter it and drink it two or three times a day to strengthen the body. This will eliminates indigestion.

Take 34 g of Green chiretta

4 g of cloves powder

4 grams of powdered cardamom

Boil them in 1 liter of water. After that keep soak for 6 hours. Then filter and drink three times a day in the morning, evening, and night to get rid of fever, chills, gout, and indigestion.

People with thyroid problems can reduce their issues by drinking a decoction of dried Green chiretta. It also removes uterine tumors, pregnancy tumors, and unwanted water in women.
